Terms
How ordering actually works here, written the way I would explain it to you over email. Nothing surprising, just the things worth having in writing.
The Deal
Terms
Legal Disclaimer
By placing an order with Confetti Committed Creations, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These apply to all purchases and services provided by our business.
Sending The Form Is Not Yet An Order
When you send the order form you are asking me to design something, not buying it. Nothing is charged, nothing is cut, and you have not committed to anything.
I reply by email with a mock-up and a price. An order exists once you tell me the mock-up is right and the invoice is paid.
The Mock-Up Comes First, Always
Before you pay anything I design your pieces from what you told me and quote you a price at the same time, so there is no surprise at the end. You look it over and ask for changes. We can go back and forth as many times as it takes.
Once you tell me it is exactly what you want, I send the final invoice. Making starts when the payment has come in.
Prices And Paying
Prices on this site are current at the time you are reading them and can change, but the price I quote you on your mock-up is the price you pay for that order.
State and local taxes will be added to initial invoices when applicable.
You can pay by cash, check or Venmo. There is no checkout on this site and no card details are ever typed into a web page here.
Made By Hand, So Expect Small Differences
Every piece is cut, layered and assembled by hand, one at a time. Two of the same banner will not be identical down to the millimeter, and that is the nature of handmade work rather than a fault.
Sizes listed on the site are approximate for the same reason.
Colors On A Screen
Screens shift color. Every paper I stock is shown on the Colors page by name and corresponding picture is an actual picture. Different lighting may impact color presentation, so exact color match cannot be guaranteed. If you want to be certain of a color before I start, ask me for additional photos of the real sheets side by side and I am more than willing to provide them.
Licensed Characters
I do not advertise licensed characters on this site. If you have a character in mind, ask me and we will talk about what I can do.
The Designs
The pieces I make are yours to keep, use, photograph, and display however you like, including at a party you are being paid to throw, although recognition of origination would be appreciated.
The designs, artwork, and mock-ups themselves stay mine. Please do not send them to another maker to reproduce or use yourself for independent manufacturing.
Confetti Committed Creations may photograph completed orders prior to delivery. These photographs may be used for promotional or business purposes, including on our website, social media accounts, portfolio, advertisements or other marketing materials. Please note that personalized details intentionally included in the design such as names and ages may be visible in photographs.
If you prefer that your order not be photographed or shared publicly, please let me know prior to completion of your order.
If Something Goes Wrong
Tell me. If a piece arrives damaged, or it is not what your approved mock-up showed, reach out and I will make it right.
See the Shipping And Returns page for how that works and what the timing looks like.
If These Terms Change
The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed. The terms that apply to your order are the ones in place on the day you approved your mock-up.
